I'm starting this blog to document my trip to Assam and West Bengal in India, planned for 3 weeks of March and April 2013. I'll cover the planning, packing, itinerary, tickets, permits and general preparation, and post up some 100-year-old family photos which are the inspiration behind the visit.
When I'm actually there, I'll post up progress reports and photos on the way, whenever Wi-Fi permits.
